Elo E810917 RS-232 Y cable (VGA connectors plus RS232 Serial DB9 for Touch)
VGA-RS232 y-cable kit (E810917) can be used on the IDS touchmonitor family that accept RS232 over the VGA port. This cable will allow for serial commands to be sent via the VGA channel.

This cable has 1-Female RS232 DB-9 connector and 2-Male VGA 15-pin connectors.
Steps for Installing the Touch Driver
If the monitor is used with the Windows XP operating system or you want to use RS232 touch (touch via COM port), follow the steps below to install the touch driver.
- Visit https://www.elotouch.com/support/downloads#/
- Select the operating system from the Operating System drop-down menu.
- Select the technology from the Technologies drop-down menu.
- Download the driver version required for your touch monitor. (Driver version must be later than 7.0 for RS232 touch)
