The
TouchWindow is a clear membrane device that is placed over the
computer monitor screen. A touch window is available to fit 13, 15 and
17 inch monitors. This device allows for individuals to directly select
items on the computer. This is a great device for young students just
learning to operate a computer. To aid in pointing, this scratch
resistant device can use either a finger (some disabled students may
use their fists or side of hand) or a stylus. For students who have
difficulty reaching up to the computer monitor, the Touch Window can be
placed on the lap and used much like a graphics tablet. Touch
Screens are intuitive and can instantly be used by children of all
ages. Touch-Screens are commonly used in school and classroom for
handicapped children with learning disorders, disabilities learning,
dyslexic and autism.
