Serial Touchscreen System

	DOS Driver (V8.7x) Installation Note             Date : Dec. 01/1998
      -----------------------------------------


   1. Driver Installation :

  	 . Insert Disk 1 to the diskette drive.

	 . Under DOS prompt :

 		> a:
		> cd \dos
		> install x: y:     	x:      --> source drive 
					y:      --> destination drive
					Example --> install a: c:

   2. Load/Unload Driver :

	 . Use "m.bat" to load and unload the driver.


   3. Touchscreen Control Panel :

         . Use "s.bat" to run Touchscreen control panel for setting
           the touchscreen.

         . "Calibration" has to be done once right after the touchscreen
           driver is installed.

	   Warning : The touch point and the cursor may not be consistent
		     if the touchscreen is not calibrated. 

	  
   4. Serial Port Configurtion :
	
	 . Use "c.bat" to configure the serial ports.     




	Windows 3.x Driver (V8.7x) Installation Note
      ------------------------------------------------


   1. Hardware configurations :

      	  The mouse has to be connected to the mouse port of touchscreen
      controller to work with touchscreen under windows 3.1.


   2. Driver installation :

	  . Connect the touchscreen to the system.

	  . Run " a:\win31\setup.exe" from DOS or windows to install 
	    the driver.


   3. Touchscreen Control Panel :

         . The touchscreen control panel is automatically added during
	   driver installation.

         . Run Touchscreen control panel to configure the touchscreen.

         . "Calibration" has to be done once right after the touchscreen
           driver is installed.

	   Warning : The touch point and the cursor may not be consistent
		     if the touchscreen is not calibrated. 
	  

   4. Assign Touchscreen :

         . The touchscreen driver could be re-assigned by running 
           "Install TouchScreen 8.xx" which is automatically added during 
	   driver installation.


   5. Uninstall Touchscreen Driver :

         . The touchscreen driver could be uninstalled by running 
           "Uninstall TouchScreen 8.xx" which is automatically added during 
	   driver installation.
